Jane Brook is a beautiful old winery that’s been run by the Atkinson Family for more than 40 years. David, Beverley, Liz and their team are the proud producers of some of Western Australia’s best premium varietal wines, sparklings and rare old fortified wines. One of their best premium offerings is the Jane Brook Sparking Gold, a Chenin Blanc infused with real 23 carat gold leaf from Western Australia.
The estate itself has a gorgeous alfresco area with a large pergola completely covered in vines. The restaurant is a big advocate of home-grown produce, and you’ll find Beverley Atkinson’s homemade jams, marmalades and chutneys among the delicious condiments on offer. Sitting underneath the vines enjoying a high tea in the dappled sunlight is one of our favourite ways to spend a Summer afternoon.
